Knut - Challenger CD *** Chrome Saint Magnus
This is brutal and noisy and last but not least well done stuff. This band from Switzerland will please all friends of noisy rockin' music all over the world with their new 9 songs output called "challenger" - I promise. After releasing a debut 7", 2 split 7"'s, a mcd and a cd, which got re-released as a lp, Knut brought their new songs to us. How I said, the production is very well done, means a great sound quality. Their songs are really complexe structured, so it isn't that easy to get into their music. Sometimes they are doing more than necessary, so the drive of some songs get lost. The vocals are really phat, but sometimes sounding like done with some effects in the studio - can't say it for 100%. So ask the band themself :o) ... Knut is a destroying machine with a nice new output, which needs more than just a few listenings to get understood. Some of you maybe will never get into, but the rest will love it. So that's all for now and I'm sad but I can't say anything about layout and lyrics because I haven't any.
