Like if Coalesce met Eyehategod, is how I describe the sound on Knut's U.S. debut full length. I'd been hearing very good things about this band for a long time, and upon finally getting a listen, I'm pleasantly surprised. Deep guttural type vocals, with crushing guitars a la the Jesuit 7" if you sped it up a bit, but kept the same distorted cracking feel to it. The best thing about "Bastardiser" is that it is an older recording of Knut, and from what I hear, they are much better now. Fuck it, bring the metal, I'm ready.
